At Chatfield Farms, an extension of Denver Botanic Gardens, growers cultivate six acres of mixed vegetables for their Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program while also operating weekly, affordable farm stands at both Denver Human Services and City of Denver locations. At these farm stands, Chatfield Farms hosts cooking demos, nutrition classes (courtesy of Cooking Matters), and Double Up Food Bucks Colorado which gives SNAP customers twice the buying power to purchase fruits and vegetables.
We'll be seeding onions in the greenhouse for the coming season, and to help provide the farm with food for its important community-based programming.
Parents and children are welcome!
